Can I leave the group freely on a Luoyang tour?

[Direct conclusion] It is not advised to leave the group freely on a tour; if needed, apply to the guide and agency in advance, explain the reason and confirm follow-up, with safety at your own responsibility. Key points to keep in mind: 1. Judge whether leaving is necessary and stay with the group if possible. 2. Report to the guide in advance with reason and destination. 3. Confirm the meeting time and place and cost handling. 4. Keep the guide contact and stay reachable. Note: With kids or elderly travelers, a slower pace beats more sightseeing spots.
