Is mobile signal and navigation reliable inside Taihang Grand Canyon?

[Direct conclusion] Mountain or canyon spots may have weak signal; navigation works but follow trail signs on cliffs. Key points to keep in mind: 1. Download offline maps; elders who stray can still be located. 2. Signal: Valleys and shaded slopes lose service; do key calls in open areas. 3. Navigation: Maps are accurate on main paths; remote trails may drift, trust on-site signs. 4. Offline: Cache offline maps and mark meet-up points so you never lose the way. Note: Carry the original ID and a photo copy saved on your phone before departure.
