Day 1: Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum
Xi'an, a thirteen-dynasty capital and Silk Road start, shows the Terracotta Army and city wall. Cycle the wall, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter — a carb-lover's city.
Day 2: Huashan
The Terracotta Army in Lintong, Xi'an, is a 'eighth wonder' of lifelike warrior figures; Pit 1 is most spectacular. With the mausoleum and bronze chariots, it defines Qin grandeur.
Day 3: Huaqing Palace
Mount Hua, the Western Sacred Peak, is famed as the 'most perilous' with the Plank Road and Cliffside climbs. The west-peak cable car eases the ascent; East Peak gives sunrises.
Day 4: Return
