Day 1: Chongdugou

Gather in the morning and depart for Chongdugou, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Chongdugou attractions. Chongdugou is located in Luanchuan, famous for its vast bamboo forests, waterfalls, and the agricultural charm of western Henan. It is one of the few "Jiangnan water town" style summer leisure spots. The scenic area is divided into two zones: Jinji River and Dicui River. Jinji River is famous for its clusters of waterfalls, splashing water and offering a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere; Dicui River is a continuous bamboo forest, where you can stroll through it with lush greenery. Here, you can stay in farmhouses, taste wild vegetables, and experience authentic mountain village life in western Henan. The pace is relaxed, especially suitable for family trips and summer vacations. My understanding is that slowing down the pace and not rushing to see attractions — walking through the bamboo forest or sitting by the stream is the right way to experience Chongdugou; Summer is the most comfortable, so cool you don't want to walk.

Friendly reminder: The canyon trail is adjacent to water and cliffs. Do not climb over guardrails or play in dangerous areas, and watch out for accompanying children. Visitors generally agree that Chongdugou is worth a special trip. It is recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanation, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Based on actual conditions, don't just focus on taking photos; pay attention to your footing and the surrounding environment. Be sure to stand firmly on the viewing platform and the edges of the boardwalk.

Day 2: Laojun Mountain

Gather in the morning and depart for Laojun Mountain, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow enough time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Laojun Mountain attractions, located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang, the main peak of Funiu Mountain and a famous Taoist mountain, said to be the place where Laozi, the founder of Taoism, retired for cultivation. The Golden Summit Taoist temple complex stands atop a peak over 2,000 meters above sea level, with golden tiles and red walls and surging clouds, earning it the reputation of "traveling far to witness the world's grandeur." The Ten-Mile Painted Screen is the highlight of the entire trip: a high-altitude plank road suspended on a sheer cliff changes views with every step, offering views of peaks, forests, sea of clouds, and sunrise. You can take a two-level cable car up the mountain; on sunny days, you can watch the sea of clouds and sunrise from the summit, while in winter, it is a highly popular snow-viewing spot in the Central Plains. My understanding is: be sure to take the cable car up the mountain early to seize the golden summit and the beautiful scenery of the Ten-Mile Painting Screen; At the summit, the wind is strong and the temperature low; a windbreaker and thermos bottle are standard, and the glass observation deck is a must-have.

Friendly reminder: The mountain roads are slippery, so be sure to shift your weight back and slow down downhill. Prepare a pair of knee pads. Visitors generally say that the sea of clouds and sunrise at the Golden Summit are recognized as the biggest highlights, with many people staying at the summit waiting for dawn. Reminder: The temperature difference at the summit and long cable car queues are key, so be sure to arrive early during peak season. Depending on the situation, shoot early or late—the morning is quiet and the dusk is the best with golden light, while the peak light is cramped and flat at noon, so it's more cost-effective to rest.

Day 3: Henan Museum

Gather in the morning and depart for Henan Museum, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's activities.

Attraction introduction: This stop arrives at Henan Museum, a landmark of Central Plains civilization. The museum houses over 170,000 artifacts, presenting "Early China" with the main theme of "Magnificent China, Choosing the Central Capital to Build the Capital." Among the museum's treasures, the Jiahu bone flute is the earliest known playable instrument discovered so far, rewriting the history of Chinese music; The Duling square ding and cloud-patterned bronze bronze are the pinnacle of Shang and Zhou bronze casting; The Lady Hao Owl Zun is majestic in shape, telling the legend of Fu Hao, wife of King Wu Ding of Shang; There are also national treasure-level artifacts such as the lotus-crane square pot and Wu Zetian's golden slips. It is recommended to follow the guide or rent an interpreter to gain a comprehensive overview of the main lineage of Chinese civilization within two hours. My understanding is that first go straight to a few treasures to enjoy yourself, then browse according to the timeline system—this is the most efficient way to grasp the main storyline; It's normal for people to be crowded in front of the national treasure display cabinets, so knowing the location of the treasures in advance saves you time by heading straight to the main topic.

Friendly reminder: Museums generally require reservations or ticket exchanges with your ID card. Please confirm opening hours and reservation methods in advance. Visitors generally report that Henan Museum is worth a special visit. It is recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanations, saving time for the most impressive details and camera angles. Based on actual conditions, the biggest concern on long trips is dehydration; carry a water bottle and drink small amounts frequently; On the first night in plateau or mountainous areas, avoid washing hair and bathing too long, allowing your body some room to adjust.
