Day 1: Laojun Mountain

Gather in the morning and depart for Laojun Mountain, follow the guide to visit key attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check in at the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Laojun Mountain attractions, located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang, the main peak of Funiu Mountain and a famous Taoist mountain, said to be the place where Laozi, the founder of Taoism, retired for cultivation. The Golden Summit Taoist temple complex stands atop a peak over 2,000 meters above sea level, with golden tiles and red walls and surging clouds, earning it the reputation of "traveling far to witness the world's grandeur." The Ten-Mile Painted Screen is the highlight of the entire trip: a high-altitude plank road suspended on a sheer cliff changes views with every step, offering views of peaks, forests, sea of clouds, and sunrise. You can take a two-level cable car up the mountain; on sunny days, you can watch the sea of clouds and sunrise from the summit, while in winter, it is a highly popular snow-viewing spot in the Central Plains. My understanding is: be sure to take the cable car up the mountain early to seize the golden summit and the beautiful scenery of the Ten-Mile Painting Screen; At the summit, the wind is strong and the temperature low; a windbreaker and thermos bottle are standard, and the glass observation deck is a must-have.

Friendly reminder: There are many slippery mountain roads, so pay special attention to shifting your weight back and slowing down downhill. You can bring a pair of knee pads. Visitors generally report that the sea of clouds and sunrise at the Golden Summit are recognized as the biggest highlights, and many people stay at the summit waiting for dawn; Reminder: The temperature difference at the summit and long cable car queues are key, so be sure to arrive early during peak season. Considering actual conditions, mountain weather can change quickly; a windproof jacket is more practical than anything; Be sure to choose shoes that are non-slip and comfortable; avoid taking a few photos to avoid twisting your ankle.

Day 2: Red Flag Canal

Gather in the morning and depart for Red Flag Canal, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening to recharge and prepare for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Red Flag Canal,Red Flag Canal is the "artificial Heavenly River" carved by the people of Linzhou on the sheer cliffs of the Taihang Mountains in the 1960s. It is over 1,500 kilometers long, leveling 1,250 mountain peaks, installing more than 150 aqueducts, and drilling more than 200 tunnels. It took nearly ten years to complete and is a monument to the Chinese nation's spirit of self-improvement. Youth Cave is the most dangerous section of the entire route, carved by 300 young commandos from the cliff face; Fenshuiyuan and Red Flag Canal Memorial Hall fully recount the arduous process of canal construction. This is a combination of red education and the magnificent scenery of Taihang, and today it is also a breathtaking cultural landmark. My understanding is that you should first visit the memorial hall to understand the canal construction background, then walk through Youth Cave to truly understand the canal's significance; Walk along the canal within your means, wear non-slip shoes, and watch your step.

Friendly reminder: The climbing section has many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility difficulties are advised to take the cable car up and down. Visitors generally report that the "artificial Tianhe" is a strong spiritual landmark, making it resonate more with middle-aged visitors. The exhibition hall's explanations are worth listening to, helping you understand that history. Based on your actual situation, don't shop impulsively; if you see a "limited-time offer," take a calm wait for three minutes. If you really want to bring souvenirs, choose reputable stores and keep your receipts for peace of mind.

Day 3: Taihang Grand Canyon

Gather in the morning and depart for Taihang Grand Canyon, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Taihang Grand Canyon,Taihang Grand Canyon spanning the border of Jin-Ji-Henan, passing through the mountains Red Flag Canal. Peach Blossom Valley, Wangxiangyan, and Taihang Heavenly Road connect majestic and beautiful scenery, a concentrated showcase of Taihang's scenery. Peach Blossom Valley is famous for its waterfalls and flowing springs, Wangxiangyan is famous for its sheer cliff boardwalks, and Taihang Sky Road offers scenic views of the canyon. In spring, the mountains are in full bloom, and in autumn, the forests are colorful—each season has its own highlights. My understanding is that the scenic area is large and the attractions are scattered, so it's essential to plan your route well and prioritize core attractions; Hold onto the railings at the steep boardwalks, and if you're afraid of heights, go within your means.

Friendly reminder: The canyon trail is adjacent to water and cliffs. Do not climb over guardrails or play in dangerous areas, and watch out for accompanying children. Visitors generally report that Taohua Valley has a tranquil water scenery and the Taihang Sky Road is steep, with visitors saying every step reveals a new view; A reminder: passengers must ride in the bus during scenic check-ups, as weather greatly affects the experience. Based on actual conditions, documents and wallets are kept separately. Important documents can be quickly reissued and stored on your phone in case lost, so you can quickly reissue them without delaying your trip.
