Day 1: Sui-Tang Luoyang City

Assemble in the morning and depart for Sui-Tang Luoyang City, following the guide to visit the main attractions, allowing ample time for taking photos and resting; at noon, enjoy local specialty meals, and in the evening, check into the hotel to recharge for the itinerary the next day.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Sui-Tang Luoyang City attractions. The Sui-Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park centers around Yingtian Gate, Mingtang, and Tiantang, restoring the palace grandeur of the prosperous Tang Dynasty 'Divine Capital' Luoyang. Yingtian Gate is the south gate of Sui-Tang Luoyang City, magnificent in scale; climbing the tower offers a view of the central axis, and at night there is a stunning light show. Mingtang was the 'Palace of Ten Thousand Phenomena' during Wu Zetian's reign, while Tiantang is a high tower for worship; the interiors of both buildings recreate the magnificent furnishings of the Tang Dynasty palace. The shores of Jiuzhou Pool are also suitable for a stroll, evoking the grandeur of the royal gardens in the past. This place is closely associated with films and TV series such as 'Wu Zetian' and 'The Wind Rises Luoyang', and has become one of Luoyang's most popular Tang culture check-in spots in recent years. My understanding is that it is essential to visit at night—when the lights first come on, the illumination of Yingtian Gate and Mingtang Tiantang shows the true appearance of the 'Divine Capital'; viewing the palace interiors during the day and the light show at night offers two experiences in one day.

Tips: Popular ancient capital landmarks are crowded during holidays, so try to visit during off-peak times or book tickets in advance. Tourists generally report that most visitors feel Sui-Tang Luoyang City is worth visiting specifically. It is recommended to slow down, follow the guide's explanations, and save time for the details that move you the most and the most photogenic spots. Considering the actual situation, the biggest risk of group tours is rushing through; the essence is listening to the guide, as the cultural stories behind each attraction are often more memorable than photos. Ask the guide on the spot if there is anything you don't understand.

Day 2: Baiyun Mountain

Gather in the morning and depart for Baiyun Mountain, follow the tour guide to visit the key attractions, leaving ample time for taking photos and resting; enjoy local specialty cuisine at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Baiyun Mountain attractions. Baiyun Mountain is located in the heart of the Funiu Mountains in Song County. From Yuhuang Peak, you can enjoy the sunrise over the sea of clouds. With high forest coverage and abundant negative oxygen ions, it is a natural large oxygen bar. Within the scenic area, Jiulong Waterfall and the Alpine Peony Garden each have their own features. It is one of the few high-altitude resort scenic areas suitable for summer cooling and autumn leaf viewing. You can use the cable car or scenic shuttle to connect the points. The mountaintop offers a broad view and misty clouds, looking like a fairyland. In my opinion, visiting in summer to escape the heat is most worthwhile, as the coolness of the mountains contrasts sharply with the heat in the city. Waking up early to climb Yuhuang Peak to see the sunrise over the clouds requires a bit of luck, but even if you miss the sunrise, the mountain scenery in the morning fog is beautiful enough.

Warm Tips: Mountain roads are often slippery, especially on the downhill sections—pay extra attention to shifting your weight backward and slowing your pace, and you may want to bring knee pads. Visitors generally feedback that most tourists believe Baiyun Mountain is worth a special trip. It is recommended to slow down, follow the guide's explanations, and leave time for the details that move you the most and the best photo spots. Depending on the actual situation, if you want to eat authentic food, go deeper into the alleys; the queues at the main gate of the scenic area are long and the taste is only average. For local specialties, ask for prices before comparing; local supermarkets often have more genuine products.

Day 3: Chongdugou

Gather in the morning and set off for Chongdugou, follow the guide to visit the main attractions, allowing ample time for taking photos and resting; enjoy local specialty cuisine at noon, check in to the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Chongdugou attractions. Chongdugou is located in Luanchuan and is renowned for its vast bamboo forests, cascading waterfalls, streams, and the agricultural scenery of western Henan. It is one of the few 'Jiangnan water town'-style summer resorts in Henan. The scenic area is divided into two zones: Jinjih River and Dicui River. Jinjih River is famous for its waterfalls, with splashing water and a refreshing atmosphere; Dicui River features continuous bamboo forests, where walking among them offers lush greenery all around. Here, visitors can stay in farmhouse accommodations, try wild mountain vegetables, and experience the authentic life of western Henan villages at a leisurely pace, making it particularly suitable for family slow travel and summer vacations. My understanding is to slow down the pace and not rush to visit attractions—walking in the bamboo forests and sitting by the stream is the correct way to experience Chongdugou; visiting in summer is the most comfortable, with a coolness that makes you reluctant to leave.

Tips: The water areas along the canyon are slippery, so be sure to wear anti-slip creek shoes or sports shoes, and take measures to waterproof valuables such as mobile phones. Tourist feedback generally indicates that most visitors believe Chongdugou is worth a special trip. It is recommended to slow down, listen to the guide's explanations, and leave time for the details that move you most and the best photo spots. Depending on your situation, conserve energy: tackle the highlights in the morning when you are energetic, slow down in the afternoon, and don’t overexert yourself on the first day to avoid feeling exhausted for the following days.
