Day 1: Jiguan Cave

Gather in the morning and depart for Jiguan Cave, follow the guide to visit key attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Jiguan Cave. Jiguan Cave is the karst cave in Luanchuan. Inside, stalactites are varied in countless shapes, with stalagmites, pillars, and flowers illuminating the lights to create stunning colors. The temperature remains pleasant year-round, and the weather is warm in winter and cool in summer. The cave is densely packed with scenic spots, with changing views as you walk. With explanations, you can understand the wonders of geological changes over hundreds of millions of years. It complements Longtan Grand Canyon with a cave and a gorge, making it a classic geological wonder route in western Henan. My understanding is that when entering the cave, remember to follow the guide. The formation and naming of stalactites are quite interesting, and it's easy to miss the highlights when you look at them yourself; The cave floor is slippery and some areas are low, so wear non-slip shoes and watch your head.

Friendly reminder: The mountain roads are slippery, so especially when going downhill, pay attention to shifting your weight back and slowing down. You can bring a pair of knee pads. Visitors generally report that Jiguan Cave is worth a special trip. It's recommended to slow down, follow the guide's explanation, and save time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Based on actual circumstances, be punctual. Gather five to ten minutes early. Better to wait for the bus than for the car—don't make everyone wait for you.

Day 2: Baiyun Mountain

Gather in the morning and depart for Baiyun Mountain. Follow the guide to visit key attractions, allowing plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Baiyun Mountain attractions. Located deep in the heart of Funiu Mountain in Song County, Yuhuang Peak offers views of clouds and sunrise. It has a high forest coverage rate and abundant negative oxygen ions, making it a natural oxygen bar. Within the scenic area, Jiulong Waterfall and the alpine peony garden each have their own unique features. Summer retreats and autumn foliage viewing make it one of the few high-altitude resort destinations in Henan. Taking the cable car or scenic shuttle connects various points. The mountain top offers a wide view and swirling clouds, like a fairyland. My understanding is that summer is the best time to escape the heat, as the coolness in the mountains contrasts sharply with the city's scorching heat; Climbing Yuhuang Peak early to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise requires a bit of luck, but even if you can't see the sunrise, the mountain scenery in the morning mist is still beautiful.

Friendly reminder: The climbing route has many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility difficulties are advised to take the cable car up and down. Visitors generally report that Baiyun Mountain is worth a special trip. It's recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanation, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Based on actual conditions, don't just focus on taking photos—pay attention to your footing and surroundings, and be sure to stand firmly on the viewing platform and the edges of the boardwalk.

Day 3: Chongdugou

Gather in the morning and depart for Chongdugou, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow enough time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Chongdugou attractions. Chongdugou is located in Luanchuan, famous for its vast bamboo forests, waterfalls, and the agricultural charm of western Henan. It is one of the few "Jiangnan water town" style summer leisure spots. The scenic area is divided into two zones: Jinji River and Dicui River. Jinji River is famous for its clusters of waterfalls, splashing water and offering a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere; Dicui River is a continuous bamboo forest, where you can stroll through it with lush greenery. Here, you can stay in farmhouses, taste wild vegetables, and experience authentic mountain village life in western Henan. The pace is relaxed, especially suitable for family trips and summer vacations. My understanding is that slowing down the pace and not rushing to see attractions — walking through the bamboo forest or sitting by the stream is the right way to experience Chongdugou; Summer is the most comfortable, so cool you don't want to walk.

Friendly reminder: The canyon trail is adjacent to water and cliffs. Do not climb over guardrails or play in dangerous areas, and watch out for accompanying children. Visitors generally report that most believe Chongdugou is worth a special trip. It is recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanations, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Depending on the situation, shoot early or late—the morning is quiet and the dusk golden light is best for photos; the noon summit is cramped and flat, so it's more cost-effective to rest.
