Day 1: Huangguoshu

Gather in the morning and depart for Huangguoshu. Follow the guide along the main route, visiting the highlights one by one, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest. Enjoy local specialties at noon, then continue deeper in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel in the evening to recharge and prepare for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Huangguoshu,Huangguoshu Waterfall located in Anshun, Guizhou. It is one of the largest waterfalls in Asia, over 100 meters wide with nearly 70 meters of drop. The waterfall plunges straight down, mist steaming, and the sound is like thunder—truly spectacular. Behind the waterfall is the Water Curtain Cave, which you can pass through and view the waterfall from inside—a unique experience. My understanding is that the waterfall is most spectacular during the wet season (summer), but since the mist is heavy and the ground is slippery, it's recommended to bring a raincoat or waterproof jacket; Wear non-slip shoes and watch your step.

Friendly reminder: The mountain roads are slippery, so be sure to shift your center of gravity and slow down when going downhill. Knee pads are recommended. Visitors generally report that the waterfall is spectacular and the Water Curtain Cave experience is unique; Reminder: Water Curtain Cave can get wet, so Libo Xiaoqikong is more common and should wear non-slip shoes. Depending on the situation, documents and wallets should be separated. Important documents should be taken and stored on your phone for backup. If lost, you can quickly reissue them without delaying your trip.

Day 2: Libo

Set off from the hotel early in the morning and head straight to Libo. First, listen to the guide's explanation of the background and highlights, then enjoy a leisurely tour and take additional photos based on your interests. After lunch, rest briefly and return to the hotel in the evening to recharge for the next day.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Libo, located in southern Guizhou, Guizhou, famous for its large and small seven arches. The small seven arches feature water forests, sixty-eight tiers of cascading waterfalls, and Wolong Pool, resembling a fairyland. It is known as the "emerald on the Earth's belt" and is also a World Natural Heritage site. Here, mountains and water blend and the air is fresh, making it Guizhou's most famous karst landscape. My understanding is that the small seven arches involve a lot of walking and the bridge is slippery, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes; The scenic area is quite large, so reserve a whole day to enjoy it slowly.

Friendly reminder: The hiking section has many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility difficulties are advised to take the cable car up and down. Visitors generally report that the clear water at Xiaoqikong is called the "Earth's Emerald," and they say it's perfect for cooling off. Reminder: The walking route is long, so bring some snacks and dry food. Depending on the situation, bring some change and small packs of snacks. These can be useful when the traffic signal is poor or you need to get a last-minute snack. Don't wait until you're hungry to find them.

Avoid peak crowds and enter the park in staggered times, following the recommended route for an in-depth tour; Enjoy local flavors nearby at noon, then have free time or follow a guide for extra tours in the afternoon, and check in to a hotel to rest in the evening.

Attraction introduction: This stop is Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. Located in southeastern Guizhou, it is the largest Miao ethnic village in the world, with thousands of stilted houses built layer upon layer on the mountain. At nightfall, thousands of homes are lit up like stars, creating a spectacular scene. Here, you can experience the Miao long table banquet, silver decorations, and singing and dancing, immersing yourself in the rich Miao ethnic customs. My understanding is that you must stay overnight to enjoy the night view; the sparks of lanterns are the soul of Xijiang; The morning mist in the Miao village is also beautiful—don't oversleep.

Friendly reminder: The mountain area has large temperature differences between morning and evening, and the wind at the summit is strong, so a windproof jacket and warm inner layer are very necessary. Visitors generally report that the night view of the Qianhu lantern sea is a great photo; visitors say it's commercialized but still spectacular; Reminder: The viewing platform is a must-visit, and you can experience the long table banquet once. Doupotang Waterfall is a must-stop on this route, attracting travelers from afar with its unique natural and cultural charm; It's recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanations, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. My understanding is that when visiting the riverside canyon, you must wear non-slip shoes and bring a waterproof bag for your phone. Even if you're having fun, be sure to protect your belongings.
