Day 1: Wuzhen

Gather in the morning and set off for Wuzhen. Follow the guide to tour according to the main route, covering all the key scenic spots, with ample time reserved for taking photos and resting. At noon, enjoy the local specialty lunch. In the afternoon, continue exploring in depth, and in the evening, check into the hotel to rest and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Scenic Spot Introduction: The next stop is Wuzhen, a representative ancient water town in Jiangnan. The East Scenic Area preserves the authentic water town lifestyle, while the West Scenic Area is known for its night views and leisure holiday experience. The Wooden Heart Art Museum and Mao Dun’s Former Residence add cultural depth. You can take a oar-pulled boat through the alleys, stay one night in a waterside inn, and experience the poetic scenery of 'bridges, flowing water, and people’s dwellings.' My understanding is that Wuzhen is at its best in the early morning and at night, as the West Scenic Area is crowded during the day. Taking a boat ride to see the lights on both banks is the most unforgettable experience.

Tips: The ancient town’s bluestone roads are narrow and slippery, so be sure to wear non-slip flat shoes, and be careful in the morning and evening. Visitors generally report that the West Scenic Area’s night views and waterside pavilions are considered the most beautiful. During the day it’s crowded, and night visits are more worthwhile. Keep in mind that accommodations in the West Scenic Area are expensive but offer a good experience, worth staying a night. Considering the actual situation, mountain weather can change quickly, so a windproof jacket is more practical than anything else. Choose non-slip and comfortable shoes; it’s better to take fewer photos than to sprain your ankle.

Day 2: Hangzhou

Set off from the hotel early in the morning straight to Hangzhou, first listen to the tour guide explain the background and highlights, then explore freely at a leisurely pace and take additional photos of points of interest according to your preferences; after lunch, take a short rest, and return to the hotel in the evening to save energy for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: One of the highlights arranged in the itinerary is Hangzhou. Hangzhou is famous for West Lake, with the 'Ten Scenes of West Lake' such as Su Causeway in Spring Dawn, Broken Bridge in Snow, and Three Pools Mirroring the Moon being picturesque like poetry. Attractions like Leifeng Pagoda, Lingyin Temple, and Hefang Street each have their own unique charm. This renowned city in Jiangnan features both mountains and waters harmoniously intertwined and is rich in culture, making it one of the most poetic cities in China. In my understanding, when visiting West Lake, there is no need to rush through the sights; strolling along the lake and boating on the water is the correct way to enjoy it. Longjing Tea Plantations and Lingyin Temple are worth setting aside separate time for, and West Lake is especially beautiful and less crowded in the early morning.

Tips: The mountains experience large temperature differences between morning and evening, and the wind on the mountaintop is strong, so a windproof jacket and warm layers are necessary. Visitors generally report that West Lake is free but very large; the Broken Bridge is crowded but most beautiful in the early morning. Renting a bicycle is recommended, and lines at Leifeng Pagoda can be long. Based on actual conditions, don't shop impulsively; if you see a 'limited-time offer', take three minutes to calm down first. If you really want to buy souvenirs, make sure to choose official stores and keep the receipts for peace of mind.
