Day 1: Terracotta Army

Set off early from the hotel straight to Terracotta Army, first listen to the guide explain the background and highlights, then wander freely and take extra photos according to your interests; after lunch, take a short rest, and return to the hotel in the evening to conserve energy for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: This stop is Terracotta Army. The Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor Terracotta Army is located in Lintong, Xi'an, and is the burial pit accompanying the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. It is hailed as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World' and was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1987. Thousands of terracotta warriors and horses in three pits, each with unique facial features, lifelike and vivid, recreate the magnificent military formations of the Qin army sweeping across the lands, serving as the most direct window into understanding Qin Dynasty history. My understanding is that Terracotta Army must be guided, otherwise it is just a pile of clay figures; among the three pits, Pit 1 is the most spectacular, and it is advisable to visit it first.

Tips: There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening in the mountainous area, and the mountain top is windy, so a windproof jacket and warm inner layers are necessary. Generally, most tourists feel that Terracotta Army is worth a special visit; it is recommended to slow down, listen to the guide's explanations, and reserve time for the details that move you the most and the best photo spots. Based on actual circumstances, keep documents and wallets separate, take photos of important documents and store them on your phone as backup, so that in case of loss, you can quickly get replacements without delaying your trip.

Day 2: Huaqing Palace

Today's theme is Huaqing Palace. Avoid peak hours and visit the park during off-peak times, following the recommended route for an in-depth tour. Have lunch nearby to enjoy local flavors. In the afternoon, you can either enjoy free time or follow the guide for additional visits. In the evening, check into the hotel to rest.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Huaqing Palace attractions. Huaqing Palace is located in Lintong, Xi'an, backed by Lishan Mountain and facing the Weishui River. It was a hot spring palace for Tang dynasty emperors and is famous for the love story of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and Yang Guifei and the poem "Changhen Ge." There is also the historical site of the "Xi'an Incident," showing deep historical significance. The large-scale night live performance "Changhen Ge" has an excellent reputation. My understanding is that visiting the historical sites during the day and watching the "Changhen Ge" live performance at night both offer worthwhile experiences. Tickets should be booked in advance, and the closer to the front, the better the viewing experience.

Tips: There are many incense vendors around the temple; please buy incense as needed and spend wisely. Visitors generally give high praise to the Tang-style hot spring pools and the "Changhen Ge" performance, saying the night show is more worthwhile; tickets are in high demand, so book in advance. Depending on your situation, carry some change and small packaged snacks, which will be handy in case of poor signal or temporary shortages in the scenic area — don't wait until you're hungry to look for something.

Day 3: Mount Hua

In the morning, gather and set off for Huashan. Follow the tour guide along the main route, visit all the key spots, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest. At noon, enjoy a local specialty meal, then continue exploring in the afternoon. In the evening, check into the hotel to rest and recharge for the next day’s itinerary.

Attraction Introduction: Today’s itinerary includes Huashan. Known as the Western Peak, Huashan is famous as 'the most perilous mountain under heaven.' The Plank Walk along the cliff and the Yaozi Flip test your courage. You can take the Western Peak cableway to save energy. Watching the sunrise from the East Peak and enjoying the view of surrounding mountains from the South Peak makes it one of the most challenging and scenic of the Five Great Mountains. My understanding is that you should climb within your capability; take the cableway if possible, and if your knees are not strong, don’t force a hike. The scenery is not worth straining yourself over.

Tips: The mountain paths have many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. For those with mobility issues, taking the cableway up and down is recommended. Tourists generally feel that Huashan is worth a dedicated visit. It is advised to slow down, listen to the guide’s commentary, and leave time for the details that move you the most and the best photo spots. Considering the actual situation, mountain weather can change rapidly, so a windproof jacket is more practical than anything else. Shoes must be non-slip and comfortable; it’s better to take fewer photos than to twist an ankle.

Day 4: Tang Paradise Night City

Set off from the hotel early in the morning and head straight to the Great Tang All Day Mall. First, listen to the tour guide explain the background and highlights, then explore freely at a leisurely pace and take photos at spots of interest. After lunch, take a short rest, and return to the hotel in the evening to recharge for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes the Great Tang All Day Mall, which is worth a special visit on this route. Its unique natural or cultural charm attracts travelers from afar. It is recommended to slow down, listen to the guide’s explanations, and leave time for the details that move you most and the best photo spots. My understanding is that when touring an ancient city, don’t just check in at landmarks; wandering through backstreets and tasting local flavors is how to experience the city as it truly lives.

Tips: Popular landmarks in ancient cities are crowded during holidays, so try to visit during off-peak times or book tickets in advance. Visitors generally feedback that most travelers think the Great Tang All Day Mall is worth a special visit. It is suggested to slow down, follow the guide’s explanations, and leave time for the details that move you most and the best photo spots. Based on the situation, avoid impulsive shopping. If you see a “limited-time offer,” take three minutes to think. If you really want to buy souvenirs, choose reputable stores and keep the receipts for peace of mind.
