Day 1: Suzhou

Set off from the hotel early in the morning straight to Suzhou. First, listen to the tour guide explaining the background and highlights, then explore freely at a leisurely pace and take additional photos at spots of interest; after lunch, take a short rest, and return to the hotel in the evening to conserve energy for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: This stop is Suzhou. Suzhou is known as the city of Jiangnan gardens. The Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, and the charm of the water towns are all excellent. The cobblestones of Pingjiang Road and the soft Wu dialect portray elegance, making it a graceful 'Venice of the East.' Among them, the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, and Tiger Hill are worth a closer look.

Tips: There will be a lot of walking throughout the trip, so it is recommended to wear comfortable sneakers and bring a light jacket according to the weather; be sure to carry your ID and other valid documents, follow the tour guide closely, and remember the meeting times and locations. Visitors commonly feedback that the gardens are exquisite and favored by scholars, noting that the Lingering Garden and Humble Administrator's Garden are a must-see; remember that gardens are quite similar, so 2-3 selected ones are enough. Depending on the situation, the best times for photography are early morning or late afternoon—fewer people in the morning with gentle light, and golden glow at dusk. At noon, the light is harsh and crowds are thick, so it's better to rest during this time.

Day 2: Wuzhen

Today, the theme is Wuzhen. Avoid peak crowds and enter the park at off-peak times, follow the recommended route for an in-depth tour; have lunch nearby to enjoy local flavors, spend the afternoon on free activities or join the guide for additional sightseeing, and rest at the hotel in the evening.

Attraction Introduction: A highlight of the itinerary is Wuzhen. Wuzhen is an ancient water town in the Jiangnan region. At the East Gate, you can observe the lives of local residents, while the West Gate offers the most beautiful night scenery. The Mu Xin Art Museum adds a touch of art. You can take a paddle boat through the alleys and stay at a waterside inn. It is one of the most representative slow-travel ancient towns in Zhejiang. Among them, the East Gate, West Gate, and Mu Xin Art Museum are worth a close look.

Warm Tips: Most streets and alleys in the ancient town are paved with stone; they can be slippery when wet, so it is recommended to wear non-slip flat shoes. Night lighting is limited, so watch your step. Be sure to bring your ID and other valid documents, follow the guide throughout the trip, and remember the meeting times and locations. Tourists generally report that the West Gate night view and the water pavilion are recognized as the most beautiful. Visitors say that it is crowded during the day, and night tours are more worthwhile. Note that accommodation in the West Gate is expensive but the experience is good, worth staying one night. Based on actual conditions, the West Gate night view is the most beautiful, and staying inside the scenic area allows you to avoid repeated ticket checks and enjoy a more relaxed night tour. The East Gate is good for observing local life, and a combination ticket is more cost-effective.
