Day 1: Only Henan

Early in the morning, enter Only Henan Drama Fantasy City, first watch the main theater's grand play, then browse small theaters; In the afternoon, freely choose the performance to immerse yourself in Central Plains civilization, then return in the evening.

Attraction introduction: One of the highlights included in the itinerary is Only Henan. "Only Henan·Drama Fantasy City" is located in Zhengzhou Zhongmu. It is a massive theater settlement built from rammed earth, featuring over twenty theaters and nearly a hundred performances, presenting the hardships, harvests, and resilience of Central Plains civilization. The main theaters, such as "Ice Fantasy," "Train Station," and "Lijia Village," are highly acclaimed, while the small theaters are creatively designed, with wheat waves running throughout, making them a phenomenon-level calling card for Henan cultural tourism. This is not a traditional attraction, but an immersive cultural experience. My understanding is to reserve a whole day for the main play before interspersing with the small theater; Book tickets in advance through official channels and check the performance schedule; popular shows are often fully booked.

Friendly reminder: Signal inside the canyon may be poor. Please agree with the guide in advance at the meeting point and avoid acting alone. Visitors generally report that the immersive experience in Drama Fantasy City is popular among young people, but tickets are expensive and time-consuming; Remind them to choose core theaters and reserve at least half a day. Based on actual conditions, documents and wallets should be kept separately. Important documents should be taken and stored on your phone for backup. If lost, you can quickly reissue them without delaying your trip.

Day 2: Red Flag Canal

Today's Red Flag Canal Red Tour: Follow the guide through Youth Cave and Fenshuiyuan to understand the feats of the 1960s; In the afternoon, you can visit nearby areas and rest in the evening.

Attraction introduction: One of the highlights included in the itinerary is Red Flag Canal. Red Flag Canal is the 'artificial Heavenly River' carved by the people of Linzhou on the sheer cliffs of the Taihang Mountains in the 1960s. It is over 1,500 kilometers long, leveling 1,250 peaks, erecting more than 150 aqueducts, and drilling more than 200 tunnels. It took nearly ten years to complete, serving as a monument to the Chinese nation's spirit of self-improvement. Youth Cave is the most dangerous section of the entire route, carved out by 300 young commandos on a sheer cliff; Fenshuiyuan and Red Flag Canal Memorial Hall fully narrate the arduous canal construction. This is a combination of red education and the magnificent scenery of Taihang, and today it is also a breathtaking cultural landmark. My understanding is that you should first visit the memorial hall to understand the canal construction background, then walk through Youth Cave to truly appreciate the canal's significance; Walk along the canal within your means, wear non-slip shoes, and watch your step.

Friendly reminder: The climbing section has many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility difficulties are advised to take the cable car up and down. Visitors generally report that the "Artificial Heavenly River" is a strong spiritual landmark, making it resonant for middle-aged visitors. Remind the exhibition hall that the explanations are worth listening to and help understand that period of history. Depending on the situation, bring some change and small packaged snacks. They are useful when the scenic area has poor signal or temporary supplies, so don't wait until you're hungry to find them.

Day 3: Taihang Grand Canyon

Gather in the morning and depart for Taihang Grand Canyon, follow the guide along the main route, visit the highlights one by one, and allow enough time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, continue deeper in the afternoon, check into the hotel at dusk, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: A highlight of the itinerary is Taihang Grand Canyon,Taihang Grand Canyon stretches across the border of Jin-Ji-Henan, and Red Flag Canal passes through the mountains. Peach Blossom Valley, Wangxiang Rock, and the Taihang Sky Road connect majestic and beautiful scenery, representing a concentrated showcase of Taihang's scenery. Peach Blossom Valley is famous for its waterfalls and flowing springs, Wangxiang Rock is famous for its sheer cliff walkways, and the Taihang Sky Road offers scenic views and panoramic canyon views. In spring, the mountains are in full bloom; in autumn, the forests are colorful—each season has its own highlights. My understanding is that the scenic area is large and the attractions are scattered, so it's essential to plan the routes well and prioritize core attractions; Hold up the railings on the steep boardwalks, and those who fear heights should walk within their means.

Friendly reminder: The canyon trail is adjacent to water and cliffs. Do not climb over guardrails or play in dangerous areas, and watch out for accompanying children. Visitors generally report that Taohua Valley offers tranquil water scenery and the steep Taihang Sky Road, with visitors saying every step reveals a new view; Reminder: Passengers must ride in the bus when handing over scenic spots, as weather greatly affects the experience. Based on actual conditions, mountain weather can change quickly; a windproof jacket is more practical than anything; Always choose shoes that are non-slip and comfortable; if you take fewer photos, you won't sprain your ankle.
