Day 1: Mount Lushan

Assemble in the morning and set off for Mount Lushan. Follow the guide along the main route, visiting all the highlights, leaving ample time for photography and rest; enjoy local specialty dishes at noon, continue exploring in the afternoon, and check into the hotel by evening to recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today’s itinerary includes Mount Lushan attractions. Mount Lushan is located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi, famous for its sea of clouds, waterfalls, and modern villas, with Guling Town being a summer resort. You can visit Sandiequan and Hanpoukou. Li Bai’s line "The torrent falls straight down three thousand feet" refers to this place, making it a culturally significant mountain in the southern region. In my understanding, when hiking the mountain, go according to your ability. Take the cable car when possible, but if your knees are not in good condition, do not force yourself to hike—scenery is not about showing off.

Tips: The mountain paths have many steps and steep slopes, so be sure to wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility issues are advised to take the cable car. Most tourists report that Mount Lushan is worth a special visit. It is recommended to slow down, follow the guide’s explanations, and leave time for the details that touch you most and the best photo spots. Considering real conditions, the best times for photos are early morning or late evening—fewer people and soft light in the morning, golden glow at sunset. Midday has harsh overhead light and crowds, so it’s better to rest then.

Day 2: Jingdezhen

Setting off early from the hotel straight to Jingdezhen, first listen to the tour guide explain the background and highlights, then take a leisurely, self-guided tour and revisit photo spots according to interest; after lunch, rest briefly, and return to the hotel in the evening to build up energy for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: One of the main highlights on the itinerary is Jingdezhen. Known worldwide as the 'Porcelain Capital,' Jingdezhen has had a continuous kiln for a thousand years and is famous for its exquisite blue-and-white porcelain, delicate porcelain, and enamel porcelain. Attractions such as the Ancient Kiln Folk Custom Expo Area, the China Ceramic Museum, and the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative District demonstrate the entire process from clay to artwork. This is a pilgrimage site for ceramic enthusiasts. In my understanding, watching craftsmen throw clay and paint blue-and-white porcelain at the Ancient Kiln is the most direct experience; the Taoxichuan night market and creative market are great for finding souvenirs.

Tips: The streets and alleys of the ancient town are complex and easy to get lost in, so remember the meeting times and prominent landmarks. Tourists generally feel that the ceramic culture is the soul, and both the Imperial Kiln and Taoxichuan night market are popular with young people; note that hands-on experiences need reservations, and it’s better to see items in person than shop online. Considering practical situations, dehydration is the biggest concern on long trips; carry a water bottle and sip small amounts frequently. On the first night in high-altitude or mountainous areas, avoid washing hair or bathing too long to give your body time to adjust.

Day 3: Wuyuan

Today's theme is Wuyuan. Avoid peak crowds by entering the park during off-peak hours, follow the recommended route for an in-depth tour; have local cuisine nearby at noon, enjoy free activities or join a guided tour in the afternoon, and stay at a hotel to rest in the evening.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Wuyuan attractions. Wuyuan is located in Jiangxi and is known as 'China's Most Beautiful Village.' Huangling is famous for its autumn drying displays, Jiangwan for its ancient villages, and Jiangling for its terraced rapeseed flower fields. The white walls and black tiles of Hui-style architecture complement the rural scenery, especially charming in spring and autumn. My understanding is that spring is best for viewing rapeseed flowers and autumn for the drying displays, each being Wuyuan's highlight; the villages are spread out, so driving yourself or hiring a car is more flexible, and wear comfortable shoes to walk through the ancient village alleys.

Warm Tips: Many mountain roads are slippery, pay special attention to leaning backward and slowing down when going downhill, and you may want to bring knee pads. Tourists generally say that the rapeseed flowers (in March) and Hui-style ancient villages are remarkable, with the most beautiful scenery in Huangling; note that the flowering period is short, and self-driving can easily get congested, so start early. Based on the actual situation, time management is important, arrive five to ten minutes early for gatherings, better to let people wait for the vehicle than the vehicle wait for people, and don’t make everyone wait for you.

Day 4: Mount Huangshan

Assemble in the morning and depart for Mount Huangshan. Follow the guide along the main route, visiting all the key highlights one by one, allowing plenty of time for photography and rest. Enjoy a local specialty meal at noon, continue the exploration in the afternoon, and check into the hotel in the evening to rest and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction Introduction: Today's itinerary includes Mount Huangshan attractions. Mount Huangshan is famous for its 'Four Wonders': unique pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs. Attractions such as the Welcoming Pine, Flying Rock, Bright Summit, and West Sea Grand Canyon are well-known. The saying 'After visiting the Five Great Mountains, one need not see other mountains; after visiting Mount Huangshan, one need not see other mountains' best describes it, and it is a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. The sea of clouds is the soul of Mount Huangshan, and it is something you can encounter but cannot guarantee. In my understanding, seeing the sea of clouds and sunrise requires luck, so be sure to check the weather in advance and start the climb early; accommodations on the mountain must be booked ahead, and trekking poles and non-slip shoes are very helpful, so proceed according to your ability.

Tips: The mountain trails have many steps and steep slopes, so wear non-slip sports shoes. Those with mobility issues are recommended to use the cable car. Tourists generally report that the unique pines and sea of clouds are called 'a fairyland on earth,' and visitors say the West Sea Grand Canyon is the most worthwhile. Note that with many steps, staying on the mountaintop to watch the sunrise saves time. According to actual conditions, when taking photos, don't just focus on getting a good shot; pay attention to your feet and surroundings, and make sure to stand firmly on viewing platforms and trail edges.

Traveler feedback — Return-day travelers remind: pack ID and souvenirs the night before; allow extra time. Practical note — Return-day tip: pack ID, power bank and souvenirs the night before; allow extra time—mountain roads are unpredictable.
