Day 1: Jiaozuo

Gather in the morning and depart for Wangcheng Park, follow the guide to visit core attractions, and allow ample time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: Today's itinerary includes Jiaozuo attractions, Jiaozuo and the Yuntai Mountain Global Geopark, the red cliffs of Hongshi Gorge, the clear waters of Dan Cliff, the flying waterfalls of Tanpu Gorge, and the sunrise over Zhuyu Peak, all of which are the essence of Taihang's landscape. My understanding is that hiking should be done within your means. Cable cars should be saved wherever possible, but those with bad knees shouldn't force themselves to hike. The scenery is not about forcing yourself.

Friendly reminder: The mountain roads are quite slippery, so be sure to shift your center of gravity and slow down when going downhill. You may also need a pair of knee pads. Visitors generally report that most believe Jiaozuo is worth a special trip. It's recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanations, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Depending on the situation, keep your documents and wallet separately. Take photos of important documents and keep them on your phone for backup. If lost, you can quickly reissue them without delaying your trip.

Day 2: Wangcheng Park

Gather in the morning and depart for White Horse Temple, follow the guide to visit key attractions, and allow enough time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: One of the highlights of the itinerary is Wangcheng Park. Wangcheng Park is located at Luoyang, named for its location atop the ruins of the Eastern Zhou royal city. It has been one of the main venues for the China Luoyang Peony Culture Festival and is the most familiar city park for Luoyang residents. Every April, famous peonies such as Yao Huang, Wei purple, and Zhao fen bloom in competition, creating a spectacular display; The park also preserves the ruins of the Zhou royal city and a zoo, combining historical heritage with leisure functions. It is a classic spot for visitors to check in at the "Peony Flower City." My understanding is that if you visit during peony season (April), you must make this a must-visit spot. In the early morning, when there are fewer people and peonies are most vibrant with dew, Outside the flowering season, it's more suitable for leisurely walks.

Friendly reminder: Popular attractions have long queues. Get a map and performance schedule before entering to prioritize must-see attractions. Visitors generally report that most believe Wangcheng Park is worth a special trip. It's recommended to slow down and follow the guide to listen to the explanations, saving time for the most impressive details and the best camera angles. Depending on the situation, bring some change and small packs of snacks to help with poor signal or emergency supplies at the scenic spot. Don't wait until you're hungry to find them.

Day 3: White Horse Temple

Gather in the morning and depart for Only Henan, follow the guide to visit key attractions, and allow plenty of time for photos and rest; Enjoy local specialties at noon, check into the hotel in the evening, and recharge for the next day's itinerary.

Attraction introduction: A highlight of the itinerary is White Horse Temple. White Horse Temple is located east of Luoyang city and was originally built during the Yongping period of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It was built to commemorate the White Horse Carrying Sutras and the early transmission of Buddhism to the Central Plains. It is honored as 'China's First Ancient Temple' and the first government-run temple built after Buddhism was introduced to China. Inside the temple, the Qiyun Pagoda Courtyard, the Great Buddha Hall, and the Heavenly King Hall are arranged along the central axis, with red walls and green cypress trees where incense offerings have continued for over two thousand years. Notably, the temple also features exotic-style Buddhist halls donated by Myanmar, Thailand, India, and other countries, showcasing the unique scenery of Buddhist culture spreading eastward and returning. My understanding is that when entering the temple, first see the main hall along the central axis, then circle around the Qiyun Pagoda Courtyard, and finally visit the foreign Buddha halls on both sides to experience cultural fusion; Come early in the morning when there are fewer people; the sunlight shining on the red walls and ancient cypress trees creates the most poetic atmosphere, and you can also avoid the peak of tour groups.

Friendly reminder: Temples have many stone steps and thresholds; do not step over thresholds. Arrange your steps in order during worship without pushing. Visitors generally report that the exotic-style Buddha halls (Thai/Burmese/Seal Hall) have a high rate of photo shoots, and visitors generally feel they are more spacious than expected; Reminder: The international temple area is quite far to walk and should be kept open. Considering actual conditions, mountain weather can change quickly; a windproof jacket is more practical than anything else; Be sure to choose non-slip and comfortable shoes; avoid taking a few photos to avoid twisting your ankle.
