Day 1: Longmen Grottoes

Today's tour is Longmen Grottoes, and it is recommended to allow half a day: connect the main cave of West Mountain, the viewing platform of East Mountain, and the Baiyuan of Xiangshan Temple in sequence, and follow the guide to understand the Northern Wei and High Tang stories behind the stone carvings; return in the evening to rest.

Attraction Introduction: One of the highlights arranged in the itinerary is Longmen Grottoes. Longmen Grottoes was carved into the cliff walls along both sides of the Yi River, with more than 2,000 niches and over 100,000 statues existing today. The Luohanshena Buddha in Fenshansi Temple is the most impressive. Along with Dunhuang and Yungang, it is known as one of the three major grottoes, representing the peak of stone carving art from the Northern Wei to the High Tang period. It is recommended to reserve half a day for a detailed appreciation, with the Luohanshena Buddha in Fenshansi, Binyang Three Caves, and Lotus Cave being the most worth seeing closely.

Tips: There is a lot of walking throughout, so it is recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes and bring a light jacket according to the weather; be sure to bring your ID and other valid documents, follow the guide throughout, and remember the meeting times and locations. Most tourists find the Luohanshena Buddha the most stunning, and the lighting at sunset on West Mountain is the best for photos; walking along both sides of the Yi River involves retracing steps, so comfortable shoes and half a day should be allocated. Based on the actual situation, the scenic area paths are flat but involve a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes; during holidays the crowd is large, so try to visit during off-peak times.

Day 2: Laojun Mountain

In the morning, take the cable car up Laojun Mountain and visit the Golden Summit Taoist Temple Complex. If the weather is clear, you may encounter a sea of clouds. At noon, have a simple meal on the mountaintop. In the afternoon, walk along the Ten-Mile Screen Trail, overlook the mountains from the glass viewing platform, and descend in the evening to check into the hotel.

Attraction Introduction: Today’s itinerary includes Laojun Mountain attractions. Laojun Mountain is located in Luoyang Luanchuan. The Golden Summit Taoist Temple Complex stands above the sea of clouds. Sunrises and post-snow scenes resemble a fairyland, making it a recently popular Taoist holy mountain and photography hotspot. Night climbs to watch the Milky Way are also scenic. Among the sites, the Golden Summit Taoist Temple Complex, Ten-Mile Screen, and the Glass Viewing Platform are most worth seeing in detail.

Tips: The itinerary involves mountain roads with large temperature differences between morning and evening and many steps, so it is recommended to wear a light jacket and non-slip sports shoes, and pay attention to your footing on steps. Be sure to bring your ID and other valid documents, follow the guide throughout, and remember the meeting times and locations. Tourists generally consider the Golden Summit sea of clouds and sunrise the main highlights, with many staying overnight on the summit to catch the dawn. Note that the summit has significant temperature differences and long cable car queues; during peak season, it is essential to start early. Considering the actual situation, the Ten-Mile Screen Trail is long; those lacking physical strength can take the cable car, and the elderly and children should proceed according to their abilities.

Day 3: Sui-Tang Luoyang City

Set off from the hotel early in the morning straight to Sui-Tang Luoyang City, first listening to the guide explain the background and highlights, then leisurely exploring on your own and taking additional photos at spots of interest; after lunch, take a short rest, and return to the hotel in the evening to conserve energy for the next day.

Attraction Introduction: This stop is Sui-Tang Luoyang City. Sui-Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park centers around the Yingtian Gate, Ming Tang, and Heaven Hall, restoring the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty palaces. Climb Yingtian Gate to overlook the central axis, and enjoy the night light show to get a direct sense of the 'Divine Capital'; it's also pleasant to stroll along Jiuzhou Pool and imagine the prosperity of Wu Zetian's era.

Tips: There is a lot of walking throughout the trip, so it is recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes and bring a light jacket according to the weather; be sure to bring your ID and other valid documents, follow the guide closely, and remember the meeting times and locations. Most tourists think Sui-Tang Luoyang City is worth visiting specifically, so it's recommended to slow down, listen to the guide's explanations, and leave time for the details that move you most and the best photo spots. Considering the actual situation, the night light show at Yingtian Gate and Ming Tang Heaven Hall in Sui-Tang Luoyang City is very photogenic, so it is recommended to enter in the evening to enjoy both day and night.
