Jiguandong near Luanchuan is a karst cave of fantastical stalactites lit for drama, with a constant cool temperature. Pair it with Longtan Gorge for a classic western-Henan geology day.

Chongdugou in Luanchuan blends bamboo groves, waterfalls and western-Henan farm life. With two waterfall zones and farm stays, it is a rare 'jiangnan-style' retreat for family leisure in Henan.
